WashFest is the brain-child of the local band The Washers that has grown into a fully-functional non-profit organization ran by a committee of guys local to East Bernard, Tx. WashFest combines the best Texas Country Music performances with the top washer-throwers Texas has to offer for a perfect storm of fun and charity awareness. We are committed to helping raise money and awareness for local charities as well as The Snowdrop Foundation. Over its 7 years in existence, WashFest has raised over $200,000 for charities and community events.
Friday night we kick the 10th annual festival off with a bang, showcasing 2 artists on the main stage of the renowned Riverside Dance Hall. Saturday morning begins with registration into the 2-man washer tournament and commencement of the musical performances within the intimate setting of the acoustic stage, which has seen a whos-who linup of Texas Country Music godfathers. After completion of the washer tournament there is a seamless transition into the climax of the day: the main stage. Through the years some major acts have left their mark on this small town stage including William Clark Green, Stoney Larue, Mickey and the Motorcars, and Cody Johnson to name a few. Come join us for some great competition, great music, and an even greater cause.
