ABOUT US
Washfest:
WashFest is the brain-child of the local band The Washers that has grown into a fully-functional non-profit organization ran by a committee of guys local to East Bernard, Tx. WashFest combines the best Texas Country Music performances with the top washer-throwers Texas has to offer for a perfect storm of fun and charity awareness. We are committed to helping raise money and awareness for local charities as well as The Snowdrop Foundation. Over its 12 years in existence, WashFest has raised over $500,000 for charities and community events.
The Festival:
We pack as much fun and excitement into one day as we are legally allowed. Saturday morning begins with registration into the 2-man washer tournament and commencement of the musical performances within the intimate setting of the acoustic stage, where you can rub elbows with a whos-who linup of Texas Country Music godfathers. After completion of the washer tournament there is a seamless transition into the climax of the day: the main stage. Through the years some major acts have left their mark on this small town stage including William Clark Green, Stoney Larue, Mickey and the Motorcars, and Cody Johnson to name a few. Come join us for some great competition, great music, and an even greater cause.
The Snowdrop Foundation:
The Snowdrop Foundation provides scholarships for college-bound pediatric cancer patients and childhood cancer survivors while raising awareness and funding for continued research to cure childhood cancer. For more information, visit www.snowdropfoundation.org.
